The cost of making the virtual prototype (computer model) is similar to that of a physical 'rapid prototype'.

Unfortunately, this is unlikely to decrease because the price of finite element software is increasing.  Our investment is at your disposal: a significant advantage of using us is that you avoid tens of thousands of pounds of capital cost.

It is much easier and cheaper to make changes to the virtual prototype once it has been built, so that many scenarios can be rapidly examined and assessed before 'freezing' the design for a physical prototype or factory trial.

It is also possible to interrogate the computer model in ways that are very difficult for real prototypes or factory trials, to assess how 'close to the edge' the performance is.

Thus, in the long run, finite element analysis can pay for itself many times over.
